January 2025 Letter to the Editor from Dr. Laurie Borowicz
Looking back at 2024, I would describe it as the year of giving back to our students.
Read MoreExciting things are happening on campus and in our classrooms. We are happy to report for the third year in a row, enrollments have increased and are close to pre-COVID levels from five years ago.
The College looks different than it did pre-pandemic, with more options for students to learn how and when it works best in their schedule — face-to-face, online or a little of both. Our student clubs, organizations and athletics are going strong, with many opportunities for student involvement outside the classroom.
We recognize that paying for college is a big financial commitment for students and their families. To be more transparent and make it easier to plan for the cost of attending Kish, students pay tuition with no additional fees as of Summer 2024. The elimination of various fees will save our students and their families approximately $1.5 million annually.
Change is constant in our world, and at Kish, we listen to our students and communities, evolving to provide new and innovative ways of delivering a first-class education close to home. I encourage you to check out the programs, services and activities we offer. Course options allow students to take classes that fit their work and family schedules. Program options range from short-term to two-year associate degrees. Advising, tutoring and career services are just a few examples of the many support services offered at Kish to help students be successful in the classroom and after college.
Â鶹ӰԺ is committed to improving lives by providing equitable, student-centered education. Please let us know how we can help you create the life you want. We look forward to seeing you soon on campus or in our online classrooms.
