The first 5” invisible drone frame just got better, with our HD version. The Covert 360 HD is designed to carry the DJI / Caddx Vista with the Nebula Nano FPV camera, using the added 20cm coax extension. The HD build includes room for duals stacks and added raceways for the 20cm coax cable. The HD frame weighs 98 grams compared to the analog version at 88 grams. All up, it ads about 27g of weight over the analog version, with the trade off of digital FPV clarity. 

The Covert frames were designed around the Insta360 One R dual lens 360 camera. The entire drone is built in a low profile that hides in the stitch line between the two lenses, making the drone invisible. This provides an unobstructed 360 degree video, or the ability to frame your shots at any angle in post.



Camera Mounting:
The all carbon fiber camera mount is extra strong and uses the stock One R camera cage. It is compatible with the silicone lens cover, the Insta 360 lens guards, and the soon to be released Freewell ND filters. The mount is universal, and will work with GoPro mounting accessories, such as the 1” straight joint extensions if you would like to run a Gopro Hero, or Insta360 with the 4k or 1” mod instead of the flat mounted 360 mod.

Carbon:
The Covert 360 is made from a high quality quasi-isotropic T700 carbon fiber. This provides superior tensile strength compared to a standard T300 carbon, and a balance of pattern overlay for an equilibrium strength in each direction.

The unibody design uses more material and is more expensive to produce than individual arms, but provides a lot of benefits. Combined with the countersunk screw holes, it provides a true flat profile for the cleanest stitch lines on your Insta360 camera, minimizes weight, and maximizes build space for your electronics.



Optional Decals:
KI Studios is well established in the automotive design industry, providing exotic car graphics and racing liveries for over 19 years. The optional camo wrap and the name “Covert” come from one of our popular Porsche Cup car liveries. The camo decals are produced from using bubble free digitally printed wrap vinyl, laminated for durability, and precision cut for perfect fit. The analog Covert frame uses the standard camo while the Covert HD uses the digital camo pattern.
