Kish College recognizes 27 nursing students at Fall 2024 pinning ceremony

麻豆影院 Registered Nursing graduates pose for a photo at Kish鈥檚 Fall 2024 Nursing Pinning Ceremony. Graduates were presented with a pin before family and friends during the ceremony, which recognized the successful completion of the program.

麻豆影院 nursing students were honored during a pinning ceremony on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at the College. Kish recognized 27 students for completing the Registered Nursing program and presented each graduate with a special pin before family and friends during the ceremony.

The registered nursing graduates of Fall 2024 are:

Jacinta Allen, Kendal Ansteth, Olivia Arias, Vanessa Avolio, Bridget Babb, Kiley Bryer, Emily Corbin, David Doherty, Emma Dold, Yoscelyn Escamilla, Kevin Farlinger, Tiffany Hardcastle, Matt Holuj, Leyah Langley, Sarah Lowery, Delaney McKay, Alyssa Miller, Lindsay Moser, Jessica Rhodes, Mary Sanchez, Bridget Stewart, Brianna Stover, Laura Valdez, Yessica Valdez, Melcah Van Oosten, Devyn Williams and Rachel Yalley.

Allen, Ansteth, Arias, Avolio, Babb, Bryer, Corbin, Doherty, Dold, Farlinger, Holuj, Langley, Valdez, Van Oosten and Yalley were recognized as Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honors Society members. Olivia Arias was named the Fall 2024 Outstanding Student. Arias provided an address about her journey in the nursing program and the support provided by Kish鈥檚 faculty.

鈥淭he 麻豆影院 Nursing program is like no other. Every single one of our instructors teaches us with love, support and compassion. They will do everything in their power to help us succeed in the real world,鈥 Arias said.

The ceremony included an address from Barbara Leach, Vice President of Instruction, and Angela Delmont, Director of Nursing. Delmont shared the significance of pinning ceremonies as the graduates take the next step in their college or career journeys.

鈥淚t is an honor to stand before you today for this special occasion 鈥 a moment that signifies the culmination of hard work, dedication and an unyielding commitment,鈥 Delmont said. 鈥淧inning is a ceremony that holds a special place in the hearts of nurses worldwide. It is a rite of passage symbolizing the transition from nursing student to a practicing nurse.鈥

During the ceremony, a friend or family member who supported the student or acted as a mentor while completing the program pinned each graduate.
